Carlisle Brass ES34 Espagnolette Door Bolt Polished Chrome

  • For light weight French doors
  • Inward or outward opening
  • Supplied with 2 x 1.2m rods
  • Brass, chrome or satin chrome

The ES34 knob espagnolette bolt from Carlisle Brass is commonly used on windows and pairs of lightweight French doors. A quarter turn of the knob operates the top and bottom rods, locking and un-locking the door. Often referred to as a Crémone bolt, the door or window usually opens inwards.

Outward Opening Doors and Windows

The Carlisle Brass knob espagnolette is supplied with 3 optional strikes; a surface staple, a flat strike and an angled strike. The flat strike and angled strike are designed for outward opening doors; however, please call customer services if you wish to use this bolt on an outward opening window or door, as often the weatherproof design of modern windows and doors will not allow them to be used. On modern designs, the seal gap can often be too big to accommodate the use of surface espagnolette bolts.

Multiple Finish Options

The Knob espagnolette is available in 3 finishes; polished brass, polished chrome or satin chrome. In each case all the components and fixing screws are in the same finish.
