The Kirkpatrick 2440 Door Handle on Lock Plate Black Antique has a plain and simple rectangular backplate which is uncomplicated and suits situations where a black antique look is desired without the classic quaint curly look.Â
Kirkpatrick’s traditional black antique finish goes through quality paint processes to make it long lasting and easy to maintain. It requires little to no maintenance and can best be kept clean using warm soapy water and a soft cloth. In the event of chipping occurring the affected area can be cleaned, wiped dry and filled in with black enamel paint. For use externally more care needs to be taken to maintain the handles in pristine condition and a light coating of wax or wiping with an oiled cloth regularly will protect them.

English Made Quality Products
Kirkpatrick products have been produced in Walsall for over 150 years and being the market leader, they have over time been copied and imported by others. Very few of these copies are made from whiteheart malleable iron and consequently are unlikely to give the same service and lifespan expected of a quality product.Â
