The From the Anvil Ornate Hinge Beeswax is a decorative hinge. The overall size is 95mm x 63mm and the hinge leaves are 60mm x 25mm. Sold in pairs, the hinges come complete with fixings.
Beeswax Hinges
The hinges have a beeswax finish – this is the most authentic finish for steel! Once forged, the colours are preserved with pure besswax giving a matt richness and offering protection when fitted internally and properly maintained. This is for internal use only. To restore and give protection to the finish it would be beneficial to use maintenance wax. Buffing with a cotton cloth will remove the white bloom.
