The matt black finish is applied to a base material of solid steel and then baked in a high-temperature oven, resulting in a subtle black patina that emphasises the product’s clean silhouette. Matt Black – From the Anvil’s matt black finish has a distinct contemporary feel. Polished Nickel was largely lost for many years, but has recently made resurgence into interior design. It is baked in a high-temperature oven giving it durable corrosion-resistant properties. The unsprung version allows upward locking movement which is often associated with modern espagnolette systems on uPVC doors. A base metal of either solid brass or steel, which then has a quality chrome plating process applied to it’s surface to give a highly polished and beautiful finish.
