This door handle is from a range of products that are carefully hand-hammered by From the Anvil's skilled craftspoeple. Polished Chrome - A highly polished finish which reflects like a mirror. This finish is firstly aged and then re-polished, which creates a subtle contrast between the lighter surface areas and the darker detailed areas of each product. Supplied in PAIRS complete with fixings. A perfect choice for both contemporary and traditional settings. A base metal of solid brass with quality chrome plating applied to it's surface which is salt tested to 480 hours. The Hammered Newbury Door Handle on Backplate features a hand hammered lever, on a simple backplate. The hammered lever door handles on backplate are designed to match the hammered Newbury range of window furniture, door knobs and handles. Aged Bronze - This finish is manufactured from solid unlacquered bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper; with a rich, matt hue, due to the finishing process used to age the metal, this process initially darkens the material, however the finish will gradually oxidize over time revealing the warmer copper undertones. Similar to a polished chrome finish but with much warmer tones. These door handles are available on backplates for lever lock, lever latch, bathroom and euro lock and in a range of finishes listed below; Aged Brass- The unlacquered brass achieves a timeless elegance, highly polished on all surface areas but aged to highlight the detail and design. This finish has been salt tested to 480 hours. Polished Nickel - A highly polished finish with a nickel plating applied to solid brass which is salt tested to 480 hours. This will tarnish in time as part of the ageing process but can be polished time and time again if a natural sheen is desired. Polished Bronze - Manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper, this finish can be described as a ‘living finish’ that adapts to its surroundings. The textured surface this creates is well suited to a wide variety of settings.
