Externally this finish requires no more than occasional cleaning with a damp cloth. Aged Bronze - This finish is manufactured from solid un-lacquered bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper; with a rich, matt hue, due to the finishing process used to age the metal, this process initially darkens the material, however, the finish will gradually oxidize over time revealing the warmer copper undertones. Aged Brass - is very similar to the Antique Brass finish, but subtly less dark. Black - This black finish is a popular choice in traditional settings, as it has a subtle sheen. A base metal of either solid brass or steel, which then has a quality chrome plating process applied to its surface to give a highly polished and beautiful finish. Supplied in PAIRS complete with fixings. This finish has been salt tested for 480 hours. Pewter patina - Pewter Patina is elegant and beautifully highlights the texture of the steel. The result is a beautiful rose-gold finish, which highlights any dark detail on the product. It has different screw positions on the rose backplate and comes with wood screws only. An extremely natural finish and a far softer alternative to a black powder-coated finish. Polished Chrome - A highly polished finish which reflects like a mirror. We recommend that this finish is wiped with a lightly oiled cloth from time to time which will remove harmful deposits and maintain it in its original condition. This finish undergoes an accelerated ageing process and is then re-polished, leaving any decorative details dark and larger surface areas more polished. The sprung handles have a strong spring incorporated into the boss and rose backplate and come with bolt through and wood screws, and will fit standard British latches. The matt black finish is applied to a base material of solid steel and then baked in a high-temperature oven, resulting in a subtle black patina that emphasises the product’s clean silhouette.
