These locks are 3 Lever, and as such are ideal for internal doors. Very similar in shape and size to a rim lock, these Horizontal Mortice Locks were first used in the Georgian and Victorian times, typically in grand, or more expensive homes, where a traditional rim lock was viewed as too 'rustic.
