The bottom fitting clamps around the heel of the gate and is adjustable to allow for easy gate alignment after fitting. The hooks to drive are barbed to prevent the gate from working loose. Although suitable for all customers, those in Scotland, Ireland and the South West will benefit most from the Galvanised finish, due to the susceptibility to high levels of corrosion in those areas. For top corrosion resistance, they are available in a galvanised finish. Supplied as a Set. The hook to bolt features a 9mm drilled hole for R clips or linch pins (not included) to be fitted to prevent the gate from being lifted off. This is particularly useful when hanging pairs of gates. Depending on the weight distribution of the gate the top or bottom pin can be mounted upside down to prevent unwanted removal of the gate.
