Polished Bronze - These products are made from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. External Beeswax - This is manufactured using From The Anvil’s unique anti-corrosive beeswax. Satin Chrome - These are crafted from a base of solid brass, with high-quality chrome plating applied to its surface. The products are beautifully suited to listed, cottage and period properties because of their timeless appearance. To restore these products to their former glory, simply polish them using a dry cloth and some Brasso. This finish is low sheen and offers a frosted, matt look. If left untouched, this finish will oxidise over time and naturally age to create a historically beautiful look. Unlacquered Brass - They are made from solid, unlacquered brass and have soft, golden hues that offer a depth of reflection. During the final stages of manufacturing, we apply a durable, matt lacquer to this finish which helps preserve its distinctive tones. Satin Brass - These products are made from solid brass. These products offer great strength and have extremely resilient corrosion-resistant properties which make them an excellent choice for coastal locations. It offers an understated alternative to Polished Chrome and is loved for its less reflective appearance and distinctive blue traces. Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike. During the manufacturing process, From The Anvil’s Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities. This finish undergoes a complex manufacturing process which creates fewer textural marks to give a smoother overall appearance. Supplied in SINGLES complete with fixings. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. During the final stages of manufacturing, our Satin Brass products are brushed with a satin wheel to give them their distinctive appearance. Much like their standard Beeswax, it offers a matt richness with a depth of colour, ranging from blue to deep ochre red. This finish is very versatile, with a high sheen appearance that works well with warm tones and cool, contemporary settings alike. Due to the process used to age the metal, this finish is very dark and has a rich, matt appearance. Aged Bronze - These products are manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. Black - This is a popular choice in traditional settings. These products offer great strength and have extremely resilient corrosion-resistant properties which make them an excellent choice for coastal locations. During the final stages of manufacturing, From The Anvil apply a robust lacquer which helps preserve this bright contrast. This finish is aged and then subsequently re-polished to highlight the lighter surface areas against the darker, detailed parts. Polished Chrome - These products are made from a base of solid brass coated with a durable chrome plating to give an exceedingly high-sheen finish. Satin Marine Stainless Steel (316) - This finish is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. Available in-Aged Brass - This finish is intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design. This finish is bright, reflective, and extremely versatile. The From The Anvil Universal Bolt is a multi-purpose bolt which can be used on windows or doors and in other applications due to a variety of keeps supplied with the product, it can be used horizontally & vertically due to the strong spring mechanism incorporated into the bolts.
