Beeswax Finish - After forging, these products are dipped into hot beeswax which allows them to retain their original colours ranging from blue to deep ochre. Our manufacturing techniques create contrasting textures on the surface of the metal to create a rich appearance with an abundance of charm. The products are beautifully suited to listed, cottage and period properties because of their timeless appearance. All our Beeswax ironmongery offers a subtle matt richness and is a more natural, and far softer, alternative to a black powder coated finish. Pewter Patina - Forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. Much like our standard Beeswax, it offers a matt richness with a depth of colour, ranging from blue to deep ochre red. It is an alternative to 'drive-in' spike/staple pins, typically used when fitting to a thinner door. Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike. The From The Anvil Screw-On Staple can be used as a replacement for a missing part from an existing thumb latch set.
