This finish is bright, reflective, and extremely versatile. Due to the process used to age the metal, this finish is very dark and has a rich, matt appearance. Satin Chrome - crafted from a base of solid brass, with a high-quality chrome plating applied to its surface. During the final stages of manufacturing, we apply a durable, matt lacquer to this finish which helps preserve its distinctive tones. During the manufacturing process, our Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities. This finish is aged and then subsequently re-polished to highlight the lighter surface areas against the darker, detailed parts. During the final stages of manufacturing, we apply a robust lacquer which helps preserve this bright contrast. The From The Anvil Letter Tidy's are an attractive option for numerous door types. Much like our standard Beeswax, it offers a matt richness with a depth of colour, ranging from blue to deep ochre red. Available in - Aged Brass - is intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design. External Beeswax - manufactured using our unique anti-corrosive beeswax. Black - a popular choice in traditional settings. Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike. This works wonderfully in period dwellings but can also be used to bring a classic twist to contemporary properties.
