Description

It is very well suited to modern properties but equally matched to traditional settings due to the warm, calm tones. When fully polished this finish has a depth of reflection. As our nickel finish is made using only one plating on brass, it offers a subtle warmth that cannot be replicated by more modern chrome finishes. This finish offers bright, bold and reflective qualities which work best if a clean, cool look is desired. From The Anvil designs are drawn and hand forged in the traditional fashion of English blacksmithing. Available in -Aged Brass - Made from solid unlacquered brass, offering an abundance of character and charm. Polished Chrome - Made from a base metal of solid brass with high-quality chrome plating applied to the surface. This finish is firstly aged and then re-polished, which creates a subtle contrast between the lighter surface areas and the darker detailed areas of each product. Polished Nickel - A high-quality plating applied to solid brass. This finish is bright, reflective and extremely versatile. Supplied in SINGLES complete with fixings. The finish has a rich, matt look and is very dark due to the process used to age the metal. Satin Chrome - Created from a base metal of solid brass with quality chrome plating applied to its surface. The From The Anvil Kelso Cupboard Knob on Round Rose has a timeless simplicity design that lends itself to a range of interiors. Its blue traces and less reflective appearance make this finish popular with those who wish to elect a matt finish. Polished Bronze - Manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. Available in three knob sizes of 25mm, 32mm and 38mm The Welsh-based brand From the Anvil, design and manufacture high-quality, hand-made and functional ironmongery that enhances and revives traditional buildings and brings an authentic and rustic charm to newer builds. A perfect choice for both contemporary and traditional settingsMatt Black - A distinct contemporary feel. Due to the accelerated ageing process this finish undergoes, a darker patina gathers around the edges and recesses to contrast beautifully with the re-polished surface areas. This finish is perfectly suited to period dwellings and will create a statement throughout. However, as the product is unlacquered this can also be left to age naturally, which over time will create a beautifully historic finish. A high sheen finish that is most commonly used in contemporary settings. Naturally, it looks great in ultra-modern interiors, but this versatile finish is timeless and will create a sophisticated statement in traditional or more rustic settings too. The versatility of this plain design on a simple round rose offers a modern feel that works in harmony with many From The Anvil products. Aged Bronze - Manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The products are beautifully suited to listed, cottage and period properties because of their timeless appearance. To preserve the dark tones of this finish, we apply a durable matt lacquer at the final stages of manufacturing. The matt black finish is applied to a base material of solid steel and then baked in a high-temperature oven, resulting in a subtle black patina that emphasises the product's clean silhouette. Polished Brass - Made from solid unlacquered brass, this finish is both classic and simplistic and offers great possibilities for stately and period dwellings alike, particularly where a very traditional look is desired. Satin chrome offers an understated alternative to polished chrome. To preserve the bright contrast of this finish, we apply a robust lacquer at the final stages of manufacturing.
