This finish is bright, reflective, and extremely versatile. This rich colour offers a beautiful contrast against the repolished surface areas, offering an abundance of charm and character perfect for any period dwelling. From The Anvil designs are drawn and hand forged in the traditional fashion of English blacksmithing. Forged from solid brass, this decorative knob set is hand-finished by our experts, making it an ideal choice for period properties. Introducing the From The Anvil Elmore Concealed Mortice Door Knob, a perfect blend of classic Georgian design and modern craftsmanship. Due to the process used to age the metal, this finish is very dark and has a rich, matt appearance. The products are beautifully suited to listed, cottage and period properties because of their timeless appearance. Available in - Aged Brass - Intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design. Supplied in PAIRS complete with fixings. During the final stages of manufacturing, we apply a durable, matt lacquer to this finish which helps preserve its distinctive tones. Polished Chrome - Made from a base of solid brass coated with a durable chrome plating to give an exceedingly high-sheen finish. Aged Bronze - Manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. Polished Nickel - Manufactured from a solid brass base with high-quality plating.
