Available in - Aged Brass - Intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design. Introducing our exquisite Brockworth Mortice Door Knob, a nod to timeless Georgian elegance. Aged Bronze - Manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. Due to the process used to age the metal, this finish is very dark and has a rich, matt appearance. This finish is bright, reflective, and extremely versatile. Hand-finished by our skilled craftsmen, these knobs add a touch of classic sophistication to any door. From The Anvil designs are drawn and hand forged in the traditional fashion of English blacksmithing. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. Perfectly suited for period properties, each set is meticulously forged from solid brass. When polished, it offers an impressive depth of reflection and has an appropriate place in modern properties, but its warm tones also make it suitable for traditional settings. During the final stages of manufacturing, we apply a durable, matt lacquer to this finish which helps preserve its distinctive tones.
