Description

The Welsh-based brand From the Anvil designs and manufactures high-quality, hand-made and functional ironmongery that enhances and revives traditional buildings and brings an authentic and rustic charm to newer builds. Black - This is a popular choice in traditional settings. Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike. Unlacquered Brass - They are made from solid, unlacquered brass and have soft, golden hues that offer a depth of reflection. To restore these products to their former glory, simply polish them using a dry cloth and some Brasso. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. Supplied in SINGLES complete with fixings. Available in - Antique Pewter - This finish offers the same protection as Pewter Patina but has a solid Brass base rather than steel. During the manufacturing process, From The Anvil’s Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities. Polished Chrome - These products are made from a base of solid brass coated with a durable chrome plating to give an exceedingly high-sheen finish. The From The Anvil Bevel Casement Stay Pin is for use with stays on sloped or angled frames. The products are beautifully suited to listed, cottage and period properties because of their timeless appearance. If left untouched, this finish will oxidise over time and naturally age to create a historically beautiful look. This finish undergoes a complex manufacturing process which creates fewer textural marks to give a smoother overall appearance. From The Anvil designs are drawn and hand forged in the traditional fashion of English blacksmithing.
