Polished Nickel - These products are manufactured from a solid brass base with high-quality plating. During the final stages of manufacturing, our Satin Brass products are brushed with a satin wheel to give them their distinctive appearance. Due to the process used to age the metal, this finish is very dark and has a rich, matt appearance. This rich colour offers a beautiful contrast against the repolished surface areas. Satin Brass - These products are made from solid brass. A perfect design choice for external doors with matching beehive mortice/rim knobs & beehive cabinet knobs to create a uniform feeling throughout your property. Satin Chrome - These are crafted from a base of solid brass, with high-quality chrome plating applied to its surface. This finish is aged and then subsequently re-polished to highlight the lighter surface areas against the darker, detailed parts. The products are beautifully suited to listed, cottage and period properties because of their timeless appearance. Aged Bronze - These products are manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. This finish is bright, reflective, and extremely versatile. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. This refined finish is extremely versatile, with a distinctly contemporary feel that works especially well in modern interiors. During the final stages of manufacturing, From The Anvil apply a robust lacquer which helps preserve this bright contrast. If left untouched, this finish will oxidise over time and naturally age to create a historically beautiful look. Pewter Patina - They are forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. It offers an understated alternative to Polished Chrome and is loved for its less reflective appearance and distinctive blue traces. When polished, it offers an impressive depth of reflection. Available below in - Aged Brass - This finish is intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design. Matt Black - They are forged from a base of solid steel and then baked in a high-temperature oven to create a subtle, black patina. Unlacquered Brass - They are made from solid, unlacquered brass and have soft, golden hues that offer a depth of reflection. During the final stages of manufacturing, we apply a durable, matt lacquer to this finish which helps preserve its distinctive tones.
