From The Anvil designs are drawn and hand forged in the traditional fashion of English blacksmithing. It has a matt richness and similarly to our standard beeswax the depth of colour ranges from blue to deep red ochre. The products are beautifully suited to listed, cottage and period properties because of their timeless appearance. It has different screw positions on the rose backplate and comes with wood screws only. The lever is hammered into shape by hand, giving it a contemporary yet individual edge, a stylish and contemporary handle selected from the From The Anvil range, it has been individually forged in steel on an anvil. The unsprung version allows upward locking movement which is often associated with modern espagnolette systems on uPVC doors. These door handles are available in both sprung and unsprung versions.
