This casement window fastener is available in both Locking and Non-Locking (see 'related products' below) variations. This Locking version of the window handle locks by way of a subtle lug with a slot for an Allen key. This classically designed window fastener features a curved handle with a bulb-end design to the tip. This window fastener is available with either a Mortice Plate or a Hook Plate. By combining traditional skills with modern manufacturing techniques, their craftsmen produce luxury fittings that are built to stand the test of time. Supplied in SINGLES complete with fixings. As such, it is often referred to as a 'pear drop fastener'. The Mortice Plate is the most common type of plate, used on standard casement windows where the fastener 'tongue' can latch into the frame. The Hook Plate is for use on 'flush' casement windows, where it is not possible to use the frame for the fastener to hold the window closed. The Croft Hardware Bulb End Casement Fastener is for timber casement windows.
