These hairpin furniture legs are available in a wide range of sizes, the larger sizes being ideal for use in buffets and for large entry tables. The Cottingham three-prong hairpin table legs are created from antique iron and is designed and hand-finished by Cottingham Collection. All sizes being ideal for use in workbenches of different sizes. Light surface rust may be present or develop when used in damp environments. If desired, this can be easily removed by using light oil (such as WD 40) and a fine grade wire wool. Supplied in SINGLES - Table Legs Only. The hairpin table leg is substantially more sturdy than a regular table leg, the increased rigidity making it ideal for use on larger projects where regular legs would flex too much. The hairpin table legs design has a resemblance to mid-century modern furniture, and thus will complement vintage themed interiors as well as contemporary themes due to this style's current resurgence. Ordinarily, when regularly used, this product develops its own patina, but should you wish to afford additional protection, we recommend Maintenance Wax be applied, which will give the iron a protective seal against any moisture. The finish is left unlacquered for authenticity. This product is created using genuine cast iron.
