This particular fastener has a large arm, ideal for larger sash windows. The Cardea Cavendish Reeded Polished Nickel Sash Fastener has two plates that are used in the centre of two sashes, to latch the window closed, securing your sash window. The application of a light wax after cleaning can be beneficial but is not essential. Their Polished Nickel Collection includes cupboard knobs and handles, window fittings and other door ironmongery for a fully incorporated look around the home. The round knob on the handle offers easy and comfortable grip while opening and closing windows. To maintain the finish we recommend wiping the item with a micro-fibre cloth to remove dirt deposits and polishing with a good quality metal polish. When the quadrant stays are fitted it will ensure that the window shall only open to a fixed distance.
