The Cardea Polished Nickel finish is a solid brass plating and will generally require little maintenance as nickel is a relatively slow ageing metal. The rose has concealed fixings for a high-end professional finish. We do NOT recommend the use of liquid polishes that will leave a residue. This beautiful polished nickel door knob is ideal for use in combination with the rest of the polished nickel items in the Cardea Polished Nickel range. The application of a light wax after cleaning can be beneficial but is not essential. The Cardea Cavendish Reeded Polished Nickel Mortice Door Knob is a round mortice knob on a round rose, both have a reeded - ringed, beehive design that is a traditional and popular design with a bright polished nickel finish that will create a grand design for the doors in your home. Supplied in PAIRS with fixings. Their collection includes cupboard knobs and handles, window fittings and other door ironmongery for a fully incorporated look around the home. Supplied as a Mortice Knob for fitting to a traditional Mortice Lock. To maintain the finish we recommend wiping the item with a micro-fibre cloth to remove dirt deposits and polishing with a good quality metal polish.
