Fire & Smoke Intumescent Strip Fire Door Seal
The Intumescent Strip Fire Door Seals for Fire and Smoke in Fire Door assemblies. They are intumescent graphite based Fireseals contained within a PVC sleeve in white or brown finishes, for fitting into a rebate to either the leaves or the frame of a door. Fitted here with a 6mm Nylon Pile to prevent smoke ingress.
In the event of a fire the seal expands (intumesces) to many times its original volume and seals the gap around the door to provide a safe and effective barrier against the passage of fire and hot gases.
All fire and smoke seals are supplied with a self-adhesive backing tape as standard to facilitate quick and easy fitting.
Tested for 30 minutes with 10mm and 15mm, and 60 minutes with 20mm to BS 476 part 22 & 31.1. Tested to 100,000 open/close cycles. NHBC Type Approval.
Available in 2100mm Lengths in White or Brown. (Usually requires 2.5 Lengths per door)
Minimum order 20 lengths of a product.
