5 Lever Horizontal Mortice Lock

From £59.42

These 5 lever horizontal mortice locks are extremely similar in shape and size to a rim lock, they were first used in the Georgian and Victorian times, usually in grand homes, where a traditional rim lock was viewed as too 'rustic.' The keyhole is located next to the knob instead of underneath it, as seen on most modern locks.

These locks are ideal for replacing old locks, or for restorers who are keen to ensure their homes are traditionally accurate.

These locks are 5 Lever. They are very secure, however to attain the appropriate Insurance Rated British Standard, it is recommended they be fitted with a British Standard Dead Lock (See linked items below).

Keyed Alike and Master Key Systems are available - Please call for details.

Supplied in SINGLES complete with fixings and 2 keys.

G3057 Rebate Kits to suit this lock are also available to order below. Rebate kits are for double doors which have been cut, or 'rebated' into one another. Click here for a link to further information on rebate kits if you think you may need one.
