Eurospec 10 Pin Euro Profile Offset Cylinder and Turn
From the Eurospec Architectural Quality 10-Pin Security Cylinder Range. These Cylinders are tested to BSEN1303 and FD30/60 Fire Safety Standards. They also meet the Police Secured By Design standards for excellent security.
Offset cylinders are different from normal 'double' cylinders, in that either side of the central rotating cam is a different length. This offset style of cylinder can sometimes be found on Upvc doors and on doors with multipoint locking systems, where the lock is placed off-centre within the door. In this instance, a cylinder with a longer side is necessary to counteract the offset lock placement.
NOTE - Offset measurements are quoted with Outside Measurement first and Inside Measurement (ie. Turn side) second.
