Excel Trident Lever Set 6970 is a Weiser replacement lever set, Weiser door knobs were commonly used in the 1970's and 80's. They use a very specific latch system which requires a large portion of the door to be removed. This can mean it is very difficult to find replacement knobs without reconstructing and filling your doors.
These Trident lever sets are made to Weiser specifications so can be directly and easily swapped in most cases. Can be installed on doors with a thickness of between 35mm-44mm.
Entrance Set: This set includes a pair of key operated door handles with the key slot contained within the outside lever arm. Supplied with a set of three keys, the inside handle has a thumb snib for quick locking from the inside.
Passage Set: This comes as a standard door handle pair which has an opening and closing function, operated simply by a latch system.
Privacy Set: is a pair of handles with an easy turn opening knob on one side and an emergency release slot on the opposing side.
Lever sets supplied with adjustable backset tubular latch. Made with strong zinc alloy components, they come available in a polished chrome or satin nickel finish.
Supplied as a PAIR. Fitting and installation instructions included. Supplied with faceplate, keep and plastic dust socket for the latch as well as screws, bolt through fixings and spindle connector for handle.
