Period Solid Brass Victorian Foley Bell Push
The solid brass Foley bell push. A faithful reproduction of the Victorian original, this item comes complete with the classic crackle porcelain 'push' disc and a hardwood oak backplate. This piece will look stunning mounted on walls or entrance pillars.
Designed for quick and easy installation, the concave dish sits inside a hardwood backplate. The bell push connects using two ordinary electrical contacts.
To provide a truly authentic appearance, the brass has been left un-lacquered and treated with a light patinating solution to age it slightly, leaving a beautiful lustrous 'rose gold' hue to the brass. This will naturally age over time, and acquire its own unique patina. The brass can be polished up in the traditional way if desired. The polished nickel will also aquire a light patina over time, but will retain the vibrant and interesting colour associated with old-style nickel.
This classic exterior piece is unique. There are no other traditional bell pushes available on the market today which will match the quality of this item.
