TIMCO IN-DEX External Timber Framing Screw Size 6.7 Metric. Designed as an alternative to the traditional Coach screws mainly used for timber to timber applications. Coated with a patented multi-layer corrosion-resistant plating this screw is ideal for outdoor applications and is specifically designed for the construction of Decking Platforms, Stairs, Fencing, Roofing and Landscaping.
This hex head, heavy-duty timber screw, is the modern alternative to the traditional Coach Screw. Extremely quick and easy to use, the In-Dex negates the need to pilot drill, and the Exterior plating allows for use in external environments.
8mm Hex Head which is countersunk with a fixed washer design.
Helix - to help clean the hole of debris and increase clamping effectiveness
50° deep single thread provides a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance.
Type 17 Slash - reduces torque and the likelihood of the timber splitting when the screw is inserted close to the edge.
25° Sharp Point - for easier penetration into all wood types.
Organic Green Plating - tested to withstand 1000 hours salt spray resistance.
Patented Molecular Lubrication to increase insertion speed.
