The Union 2226 64mm Mortice Bathroom Lock Satin Chrome is for wooden doors hinged on the left or the right, requiring privacy operation by deadbolt. The lock is locked or unlocked by a turn of the internal thumbturn or the turn of an external emergency release. In general the 2226 bathroom lock will be used for bathroom, cloakroom and en-suite doors. The lock case is pierced to accept bolt through door furniture and is suitable for use with un-sprung lever handles.
