Malleable Wrought Iron Escutcheon
This escutcheon is made from malleable wrought iron and comes with a 10 year mechanical warranty. Regular maintenance is essential as malleable wrought iron is susceptible to rusting. We suggest frequent oiling of the antique black hardware and an occasional application of clear wax to maintain the glorious, rustic appearance. For these vary reasons, black antique furniture is not recommended for coastal areas, although it is often used on coastal properties.
