Matching Accessories for the Ball Rim Knob

Matching key escutcheons are available to be used on the opposite side of the door to the rim lock and knob. An escutcheon is simply a cover for the keyhole cut-out in the door. Some can be found in the related products; for full range see the Door Fittings category.
Threaded Spindle Knob
To ensure a positive location on the lock the spindle is pinned onto the rim side knob and threaded. This allows the knob to be positively fitted to the rim lock through the door, eliminating the usual looseness of rim lock knobs.  Once the rim side knob is firmly attached the non-rim side knob is attached to the door, over the exposed spindle.
