Straight and Cranked Versions Available
Straight bolts are supplied complete with a frame fixing staple, for fitting to inward opening doors. Cranked bolts are supplied with a flat strike plate for outward opening doors or windows. The 125mm and the 202mm bolts are available as cranked versions.
Positive Closing Action
To facilitate positive closing, each bolt is assembled with a friction spring between the body and the bolt. The shorter 127mm bolt is commonly used to join the two halves of a stable door or as additional security on any external door. Typically the larger sizes are used for securing pairs of French doors and garage doors.
