The From the Anvil Tudor Door Handle on Lock Plate Beeswax has an authentically styled decorative backplate and an angled handle which is pointed at either end. This handle has the new ‘Boss’ design (as does the black variation, but the pewter variation is the original design). The backplate measures at 273mm x 40mm, the handle length is 132mm and the centres are 57mm. They are sold in pairs complete with fixings.
Beeswax Door Handle
The handle has a beeswax finish – this is the most authentic finish for steel! Once forged, the colours are preserved with pure besswax giving a matt richness and offering protection when fitted internally and properly maintained. This is for internal use only. To restore and give protection to the finish it would be beneficial to use maintenance wax. Buffing with a cotton cloth will remove the white bloom. It is also available in pewter or black finishes which can be purchased as separate products.
Lock Handle
This handle is on a lock plate. An appropriate sash lock will be required for all locking doors. Sash locks are available separately; see Related Products and the Hinges, Locks & Latches category.
