The From the Anvil Sash Lift Beeswax is to be fitted to the bottom of a sash window, usually in pairs – it assists in the lifting and closing of the bottom sash. The fixing plate size is 48mm x 18mm and the projection is 36mm. Sold individually, each sash lift comes complete with fixings.
Beeswax Sash Lift
The sash lift has a beeswax finish – this is the most authentic finish for steel! Once forged, the colours are preserved with pure besswax giving a matt richness and offering protection when fitted internally and properly maintained. This is for internal use only. To restore and give protection to the finish it would be beneficial to use maintenance wax. Buffing with a cotton cloth will remove the white bloom.
