The From the Anvil Locking Gothic Screw on Staple Pewter is to be used in conjunction with a thumblatch, generally on bathroom or toilet doors. The overall size is 100mm x 18mm and is sold individually, complete with leather thong & pin (to stop movement of the latch bar) and fixings.
Pewter Staple
The staple has a pewter patina finish – this has anti-corrosion properties and can be used internally or externally. To remove dirt deposits, simply wipe over with a lightly oiled cloth from time-to-time and this will restore it to its original condition. Do not use any form of aerosol spray or metal cleaner.

It is also available in black or beeswax finishes – sold as separate products.
