The From the Anvil Gothic Thumblatch Pewter is for use on doors with a maximum thickness of 55mm. The thumb piece passes through the door and raises the latch bar off the keep. To restrict the latch bar movement a staple pin and screw-on staple pin are provided. The handle is 216mm long, the thumb bar is 140mm long and the latch is 190mm long. Sold as a set, the thumblatch comes complete with pins and fixings.
Pewter Thumblatch
The thumblatch has a pewter patina finish – this has anti-corrosion properties and can be used internally or externally. To remove dirt deposits, simply wipe over with a lightly oiled cloth from time-to-time and this will restore it to its original condition. Do not use any form of aerosol spray or metal cleaner.
