The Finesse Swirl Door Knob uses a classic ball shaped door knob with a beautiful swirl design cast into the centre and around the edge. These door knobs really highlight the natural beauty of pewter, and will give a great bespoke look and finish to your interior. Finesse Design use lead-free pewter that gives a warm tactile feel and excellent durability. The pewter door knob is mounted on a long rectangular backplate with a fixing hole in each corner for easy and secure woodscrew fixing. This backplate is available in three variations: Non-locking latch backplate, locking backplate for doors with standard UK locks, or bathroom turn backplate with thumbturn for optional privacy. Finesse Design deal only in Hand made, genuine pewter handles that are crafted in England using original designs, created in-house in Finesse's design hub and workshop in Durham, Northern England. We recommend our double sprung latches for use with this knob, ideally at sizes of either 102mm (4''), 128mm (5'') or 152mm (6"). For best results the door knob should be placed at a minimum of 76mm (3'') from the edge of the door. The Finesse Design Pewter Swirl Door Knob on Backplate FD034 is hand made from genuine pewter.
