Carlisle Brass 152mm Victorian Urn Type Front Door Knocker Polished Brass

The Carlisle Brass 152mm Victorian Urn Type Front Door Knocker Polished Brass has a traditional design and would look wonderful on any front door. The classical urn design is reminiscent of the Greek history period and coordinates well with many other classically traditional styles of today.

This knocker is made from solid brass and has a polished brass finish. The polished brass finish is produced by highly polishing solid brass and then coating with a hardwearing clear lacquer. This requires some care and attention to prevent it from tarnishing, but a clean with mild soapy water to remove dirty deposits and then a light waxing from time to time will keep it in good condition. Never use brass cleaning equipment or abrasive chemical products on polished brass as these will damage the lacquer.
