Three Popular Lengths Available

The curly tail stay is available in the usual three popular sizes; 203mm, 254mm and 305mm.  These sizes will suit almost all window sizes from small fanlight windows to normal casements.  The general rule of thumb is to use a stay which is between 50% and 60% of the window width.

Ludlow Black Antique Finish

Malleable wrought iron is by its very nature susceptible to rusting and should be cared for accordingly.  It will require a regular maintenance routine which should include a light application of oil and an occasional application of clear wax.

Additional Security as Required

For additional security and to meet insurance company guidelines a locking pin is available to secure the stay, as unfortunately the Ludlow fastener does not come in a locking version.  See related products.
