The Carlisle Brass AA73 screw down pattern window stay is commonly used to restrict the opening of windows on first and second floor windows. Carefully positioned it will restrict any top or side hung window from opening further than desired. Once open the window can be locked in the open position with the screw down knob.

Polished Brass Finish

The AA73 is only available in a traditional polished brass lacquered finish, which matches all the other polished brass items produced by Carlisle Brass. Carlisle’s brass products are protected by an advanced lacquer and under normal conditions this lacquer will protect the product for many years.

Restricted Opening of Doors

The AA73 can also be used to hold open smaller external doors, positioned at the top of the door the stay will restrict the door opening and when tightened will hold the door open against a light to average gust of wind. Suitability should be determined on site for each application.
