Hook or Mortice Plate

The fastener comes complete with both a hook plate for pairs of cottage windows and the more popular mortice plate for traditionally hung outward opening casement windows.  A matching stay is available in 3 lengths; 203mm, 254mm and 305mm.

Ludlow Black Antique Finish

Malleable wrought iron is by its very nature susceptible to rusting and should be cared for accordingly.  It will require a regular maintenance routine which should include a light application of oil and an occasional application of clear wax.

Additional Security as Required

For additional security and to meet insurance company guidelines a locking pin is available to secure the stay, as unfortunately the ludlow fastener does not come in a locking version.  See related products.
