Access Hardware guarantees its new D series products against defects in workmanship and materials for a full 10 years, subject to fair wear and tear and so long as the items have not been used in a corrosive environment such as near the coast, in polluted conditions or in chloride environments such as swimming pools.
C Series Grade 316
The C series of lever handles and pull handles from Access hardware are however suitable for most applications and can be used in coastal, polluted and chloride environments, as they are made from Marine Grade 316 stainless steel.
Care and Maintenance of Stainless Steel
However to maintain the highest corrosion resistance it is necessary to keep the surface of the stainless steel and/or any material used to produce door furniture as clean as possible. This can for most materials be done by wiping with a clean damp cloth, using either a mild detergent or soap, then rinsing with warm clean water and drying with a towel.
