Description
Our ‘Hit & Miss’ vent is manufactured from quality brass and available either in polished and lacquered brass or polish chrome plated. The vent can be opened or closed using the central button, by a sliding action. Two rivets either side of the central slide knob, guide the vent when opening and closing.
Brass & Chrome Vent
Three sizes are available in both brass and chrome; 242mm x 89mm, 242mm x 165mm and 242mm x 242mm. In addition to these three sizes a smaller 165mm x89mm vent is available, but in polished and lacquered brass only. Each vent is individually packaged, for protection and supplied complete with necessary fixing screws.
Carbon Monoxide Grille Monitoring
When venting rooms with gas appliances hit & miss vents should not be used unless there is alternative adequate ventilation which meets the necessary regulations referring to air flow. They should not be used to replace existing slotted or louver vents as this can result in a build up of carbon monoxide. If in any doubt, please contact a qualified gas installer or customer services.
