Our door wedge is a simple solution to holding open doors which are fitted with a closing device.  Typically they are used in flats and town houses to hold open fire doors which are fitted with perko type closers.

Three Standard Finishes

The door wedge is available in either polished brass plate, polished chrome plate or satin nickel plate, to compliment the general interior of the room.  The top and the bottom of the wedge is black plastic, so as not to damage the door or the floor.

Fire Door Integrity

When the door wedge is used to hold open domestic fire doors it is extremely important that any wedges are removed at night and when the property is unoccupied.  Fire doors are designed to hold back any fire for at least 20 to 30 minutes and are totally ineffective if left open.  Fire kills, please use these door wedges responsibly.
