The Rustic door bolt is made from solid brass and finished in a wrought iron effect.  Competitively priced it is an attractive alternative to the traditional beeswax hand made door bolt.  Each bolt comes complete with a staple and all fixing screws in a matching rustic finish.

Two Practical Sizes

The rustic door bolt is available in 2 sizes, a 6” (152mm) bolt and an 8” (203mm) bolt. Both sizes are only available as straight bolts and are not really suitable for outward opening French doors. For outward opening doors you really need cranked bolts or angled striking plates. The bolts are perfect for inward opening doors.

Matching Finish Items

Other items available in a matching finish include cabin hooks, tee hinges and a thumb latch; these items are also made from brass and finished in a wrought iron effect.  Items in a beeswax finish made from raw steel are very similar in appearance and can be used in conjunction with these wrought iron effect items.
