Dust free (excluding) sockets are commonly used to replace the standard strike plate supplied with 19mm flush bolts when fitted to the bottom of the door. They are a sprung loaded socket, which by design keeps out the dust and debris when the bolt is not closed.

Suitable for Concrete or Tiled Floors

Two designs of socket are available for fitting into wood & tile floors or for building into concrete floors.  The concrete socket (AQ47) is 25mm in diameter and has a ribbed body to allow it to be bonded into concrete or tiled floors.  The hole size for the bolt is 12mm diameter.

Brass or Chrome Finishes

The concrete socket (25mm) is available in polished brass, polished chrome or satin chrome, whilst the larger socket for wood is available in polished brass or polished chrome.
