The From the Anvil Sash Hook Fastener Beeswax is used to secure your sash window – it is lockable by way of a grub screw in the handle. It is ideal for use on a narrow top rail due to the thin fixing on the keep. The fixing plate size is 64mm x 19mm, the projection is 39mm and the keep plate is 64mm x 11mm. Sold individually, each fastener comes complete with a hex key and fixings.
Beeswax Fastener
The fastener has a beeswax finish – this is the most authentic finish for steel! Once forged, the colours are preserved with pure besswax giving a matt richness and offering protection when fitted internally and properly maintained. This is for internal use only. To restore and give protection to the finish it would be beneficial to use maintenance wax. Buffing with a cotton cloth will remove the white bloom.
