The polished brass 4 ball bearing hinge is commonly used for external domestic doors or heavy interior doors. It will comfortably carry doors weighing between 40Kg - 60Kg, based on 3 hinges per door. (40Kg maximum for the 75mm version).

Normal Door Hinge Operation

The 4 ball bearing knuckle is designed to spread the weight of the door and give a smooth and reliable performance. As a hinge it has not been tested to meet fire door standards and consequently should not be used on fire doors.

Triple Sized Hinge      

The 4 ball bearing hinge is available in 3 sizes 102mm x 76mm x 3mm, 100mm x 100mm x 3mm and 75mm x 50mm x 2mm. The 100mm sizes are best suited to 44mm doors and above whilst the 75mm hinge is best suited to 35mm – 40mm doors.
