The Rawnsley Iron Range T540 letter plate is a reproduction, highly decorative copy of an original 1890 design.  The letter plate has a Scottish thistle design.  It is supplied with fixing bolts and is simple to fix to your front door. it comes in just the one size 10" x 2" (250mm x 50mm).

Black Painted or Pewter Finish

The Rawnsley T540 letter plate is available in a traditional black painted finish or in the new Kirkpatrick pewter finish, a splendid silver colour with a pewter effect to make it look as if it has aged naturally. Both of these finishes would be particularly suitable for an old cottage front door.

Matching Door Knockers

For a unified look on your front door, there are a several matching door knockers available and a rim lock body, which when used with the letter plate will give that authentic period feel

Kirkpatrick products have been produced in Walsall for over 150 years and being the market leader, they have over time been copied and imported by others. Very few of these copies are made from whiteheart malleable iron and consequently are unlikely to give the same service and lifespan expected of a quality product. Whilst on our site we sell alternatives to Kirpatrick, which are in our opinion, competitively priced, good quality alternatives, we thoroughly recommend and would always prefer, to sell good quality Kirkpatrick products manufactured in the Walsall factory.
