The Letter Plate Cover is part of From the Anvil’s hand forged traditional ironmongery collection. It is designed to be fitted internally in order to prevent draughts and tidy up your letter box hole. It can also be used for new building projects if your aim it to recreate a traditional theme with your design.

Hand-forged by Master Craftsmen

The letter plate cover has been hand-forged by the highly skilled blacksmiths at From the Anvil. The techniques used are very traditional and have stood the test of time for centuries. Because the letter plate covers have been individually hand-forged there are slight nuances in appearance that add a lovely sense of charm to each one.

Combine with Letter Plate

The letter plate cover is available in blackened beeswax or traditional black. As your letter plate cover will be fitted internally, very little maintenance is needed to maintain its original look. However, we do recommend an occasional waxing of the beeswax finish. The letter plate cover is best combined with From the Anvil’s Letter Plate (see related products below).
