Maintenance a Must

Iron has a tendency to rust so careful preservation of your door knocker is essential to maintain its original appearance. A regular light oiling as you carry out your household chores should keep the hinge on your door knocker in good working order. An occasional rub using clear wax is also necessary. Please be aware that an improved maintenance program will be needed for ironware exposed in coastal locations.
